2 years ago when I first met you, I couldn’t imagine giving my heart to somebody again. I ran, far and for a long time. I didn’t know much of anything I wanted or wanted to even find in my next potential relationship - I didn’t even want to look. But I did know that the next person I choose to be with was going to be a person I didn’t have to settle for.The one and only thing I knew was that in my own personal opinion, being in love meant being with someone who woke up everyday with your best interest at heart, doing the little things and never stopping. And I desperately wish I had given you the chance you deserved when you needed it but I am so incredibly happy you never stopped giving me those chances. I have had everything I ever looked for in a human in you. I love you for loving me. And I love you for loving me enough to make me love myself.
